CPA Nova Scotia Celebrates Ten Outstanding Members with Prestigious Awards


CPA Nova Scotia proudly recognizes ten outstanding CPAs chosen as this year's Member Recognition Award recipients.

Eight individuals will be honored with the prestigious Fellow (FCPA) designation. This highest mark of distinction is awarded to Chartered Professional Accountants whose exemplary career achievements and community service honour the profession.

Two addtional CPAs will be recognized with the Unsung Hero and Early Achievement awards.

The Unsung Hero Award is given to a CPA who shows remarkable dedication, commitment, and outstanding service to individuals or groups within the community through volunteer activities. This award highlights those whose behind-the-scenes contributions at the community level often go unrecognized.

The Early Achievement Award celebrates a CPA who, within the first ten years of receiving their designation, has demonstrated significant achievement and an ongoing commitment to professional excellence or community involvement.

The Unsung Hero Award recipient is: 
Elfinesh Zewde, CPA

The Early Achievement Award recipient is: 

Gioia Usher, CPA
